Ever wonder why it’s so hard to find one company’s website online, while another one shows up at the top of your favorite search engine results? If your website doesn’t show up in Google, I can help. Optimizing your copy for the web, making information easy to find, and giving the design a fresh, inviting feel, are just a few things I can do to make the web work a little harder for you.
Don’t have a website? I can help. I’ll walk you through my design process and take care of all the details.
I can help you get your message out over the web. Email blasts, banner ads and pay-per-click advertising are a few things I can do to get you new customers, and drive traffic to your web site.
My name is Don Macaulay. I've been working in the software industry for over 8 years, and my current day job is managing web operations at Business Objects. Janet Martin Communications
Janet Martin is a search engine specialist and freelance writer of web and print content. Looking for fresh writing?
I'm currently managing the corporate website at Business Objects. Most of what I learned in my last project about tagging, the Google Appliance and database driven content will be applied in my new role.
Between 2005-2007, I managed the corporate intranet at Business Objects, and many of my projects revolved around databases. One project was called the Library—a database driven, tagging solution for managing and finding content on the intranet. I presented this project on August 14, 2006 at Adaptive Path's User Experience Week in Washington DC.
The Library was developed as a joint strategic project with Chiara Fox, Senior Information Architect at Adaptive Path, and is based on the Flamenco Search Interface Project.
In 2005, I completed a website for the television series Terminal City, a new, ten-part mini-series exclusively on Movie Central and The Movie Network.
I designed this website as a joint project with Leif Jason of Mastermynde Mediaworks. The site was listed as one of the Top 10 Most Popular Websites at the 2006 Gemini Awards.
